| Major Sponsorship An opportunity exists for an organisation to be the major sponsor for our Cert I course in work preparation. This is provided at no cost to the student and aimed to address the situation where teenagers are dropping out of school early without fully realising the consequences of this decision. Experience has shown that more than 85% of students re-engage with the education system or find meaningful employment, such as apprenticeships, after participation in this program. It is an ideal way for a company to demonstrate its commitment to strengthening community and investing into the lives of young people who are at risk of long term unemployment and exclusion from mainstream society. A sponsorship of $10,000 would completely cover the cost of a 1 year, Cert I course for 10 young people. Please contact us for more details. |
| Scholarships Every year, students who would greatly benefit from participating in one of our courses is prevented from doing so because of financial constraints. For the Cert IV course in youth work, in particular, sponsoring a student not only helps them as individuals but has a knock-on effect whereby they, once qualified, help youth at risk in their own community find their rightful place in society. A sponsorship of $3,000 would completely cover the cost of a 1 year, Cert IV course for one young person. Please contact us for more details. |
In-kind sponsorship The college is hoping to move into new, larger premises shortly, which will require extensive renovation. Donations of building materials, heating/cooling equipment, office furniture, audio visual equipment and computers etc (new but superceded models are ideal) would be most welcome. |
